Virtual Keyboard X-Key is designed to enter text information using a touch screen phone.
This keyboard can be positioned in portrait orientation (the little buttons - to recruit fingernail or stylus), and in landscape orientation (large buttons - to recruit finger). It also has its own text editor window for easy monitoring input text.

X-Key supports 70 language layouts (almost all languages - includes Vietnamese
). You can setup to four different layouts (such as English, French, Russian and Chinese) and switch between them easily.
X-Key is designed for use in Sony Ericsson smartphone that is running the operating system Symbian UIQ 3.x:

Because the author of this software has not been received certificate for a normal installation from Sony Ericsson so if you want to install this keyboard, you must install a set of third-party kit to install unsigned programs (you can find the instruction here).
Unfortunately, in demo mode, there's a limitation: every keyboard-button can be pressed only once time. You must purchase a registration code to remove this restriction.
How to install ?
- Download and install the latest version (0.91 beta) of X-Key
- Then restart the phone! (turn off and start again)
- Select X-Key in the list of virtual keyboard in:
Main Menu -> Control Panel -> Device -> Text Input -> On-screen keyboard - To change the keyboard settings after seleted it, click More -> Setup
After some testing on my P1i, I can say that this software looks very promising, nice interface (with 3 color themes) but letters disappear after being pressed - of course, space-bar acts like backspace, etc (now corrected).
